Online College Degrees is managed by Dr. Matthew Memmott, who is passionate about teaching, and helping other people to attain their full potential through education. The purpose of the site is to provide tools, tips, and methodologies that will assist in obtaining an education, online or otherwise. The helps that are found on this site range from articles that instruct on how to get into prestigious schools, give tips on studying, and advice on how to get financial aid, all the way to providing a form right on the site that will help with starting the process for enrolling in online colleges and universities. This is the first step needed for obtaining online college degrees, which could help even people with families and full time jobs to further their education.
Dr. Matthew Memmott graduated from high school and obtained a 4 year full tuition scholarship to Brigham Young University (BYU). After serving a full-time, two-year mission for the LDS church, he returned to school and obtained a B.S. in chemical engineering. He obtained a 4 year federal grant from the US Government, and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for both a M.S. and Ph.D. in nuclear science and engineering. He currently designs safe, small, nuclear reactors, with a focus on safer nuclear power. His specialty is nuclear safety, and he is currently working with a team of other scientists and engineers to develop a reactor that will be much safer than past nuclear reactors. Dr. Memmott has also spent extensive time teaching, tutoring, and helping others learn and obtain an education. He has a gift for teaching difficult concepts in a way that is simple for other people to understand, and he tries to use that gift to explain difficult concepts such as nuclear physics, chemical diffusion, or how to get an education. Dr. Memmott manages and operates the website “Online College Degrees” in order to help other people know how they can get a low-cost education that will serve them in big ways, particularly in difficult economies.
Dr. Memmott is assisted in his efforts by Ms. Chamberlain. Ms. Chamberlain is an associate of Dr. Memmott’s, and a graduate of Harvard University. Ms Chamberlain grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended public schools. She went to college at Brigham Young University where she received a full tuition department scholarship, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts. She then attended graduate school at Harvard University, where she received a full tuition grant and living stipend before graduating as a Master of Theological Studies. She went on to teach both middle school and high school history.
